Our Planning team takes care of the details behind the scenes, timelines, vendors, coordination, logistics and everything that needs to happen to keep your event on track. Our Décor team brings your vision to life, creating a space that feels intentional and beautifully put together. From colour palettes and layouts to the finishing touches, we pay attention to how everything comes together. And with our Rentals collection, you have access to event pieces, from table styling details and candleholders to vases, props, backdrops and statement décor making it easier to bring your ideas together without having to source everything yourself. But for us, it goes beyond what we offer. We know that your event means something to you. Dyannette Events | Event Décor & Styling At Dyannette Events, we create and style event spaces with a clear understanding of the look, atmosphere and experience our clients want. From the initial concept to the final setup, we handle the details that bring the space together and make sure every element works as part of one complete design. DÉCOR CONCEPT & DESIGN We begin by understanding your event, your preferences and the look you want to achieve. We develop the overall décor direction, including the colour palette, mood, textures, styling elements and key features of the space. Where you already have a clear vision, we work with it. Where you need direction, we help develop the concept and turn your ideas and references into a cohesive design. VENUE & SPACE ASSESSMENT The venue plays an important role in how the décor comes together. Where required, we visit the venue to assess the available space, layout, existing features, lighting and practical requirements. We consider how the space will be used, where key décor elements should be positioned and how guests will move through the venue. This helps us create a design that is not only beautiful but also suitable for the space. EVENT STYLING Our styling covers the different elements that create the overall look of the event. Depending on the brief, this can include: • Entrance and welcome areas • Backdrops and focal installations • Stage and main-event areas • Table styling and centrepieces • Floral arrangements • Candles and candleholders • Vases and decorative pieces • Props and statement pieces • Draping and fabric installations • Furniture and lounge areas • Signage and display areas • Cake and gift table styling • Aisle and ceremony styling • Reception styling • Lighting and finishing details Each element is selected and positioned with the overall design in mind. TABLE STYLING We pay particular attention to tables because they form a major part of the guest experience. We can style tables using coordinated linen, chargers, cutlery, glassware, napkins, candles, florals, centrepieces, vases and other decorative details. The aim is to create tables that complement the wider event design rather than looking like separate pieces put together. CUSTOM & STATEMENT DÉCOR For clients who want something more distinctive, we can create or source statement décor elements that give the event its own identity. This may include customised backdrops, welcome installations, large floral features, creative props, signage, special displays and other focal points based on the event concept. We focus on creating features that make an impression without allowing the décor to become unnecessarily crowded. RENTALS BY DYANNETTE EVENTS Our décor service also works alongside Rentals by Dyannette Events, giving us access to a collection of event pieces that can be incorporated into our styling. This includes selected props, vases, candleholders, table styling pieces, backdrops and statement décor. Clients who already have their own decorator can also rent selected pieces from our collection, while our full décor clients can have their styling and rental needs handled together. SETUP & INSTALLATION Once the design is approved, our team coordinates the setup and installation of the décor. We work through the agreed layout, position the décor elements, style the different areas and complete the finishing touches before the event begins. We also work with other vendors where necessary to make sure their setups and our décor can come together without interfering with each other. OUR STANDARD We believe the difference is in the details. We do not simply bring décor to a venue and place it around the room. We consider proportion, placement, colour, balance and how each area connects to the next. We want the finished space to feel cohesive from the moment guests arrive until they leave. Beyond choosing vendors and deciding how you want the space to look, there are payments to track, timelines to build, people to coordinate, decisions to make and countless details that need attention. Our job is to take that responsibility off your shoulders and give you a team you can genuinely rely on from the first conversation to the final detail. EVENT PLANNING Every event begins with understanding you, your occasion and what matters most to you. We take the time to understand your vision, guest count, budget, venue, priorities and the kind of experience you want your guests to have. From there, we turn those ideas into a clear and workable plan. We help you understand what needs to be done, what needs to be booked and when each decision needs to be made, so the process feels organised rather than overwhelming. BUDGET & VENDOR MANAGEMENT We help you create a realistic budget and make informed decisions about where your money goes. Where required, we source quotations, compare options, track agreed costs and keep up with payments and outstanding balances. When vendor sourcing is part of your package, we help find and coordinate the professionals your event needs, from caterers and photographers to MCs, DJs, makeup artists, entertainers, cake vendors, ushers, security and logistics teams. We communicate with vendors, confirm their responsibilities and follow up on the details, so you are not left trying to manage everyone yourself. LOGISTICS & TIMELINES A beautiful event still needs to run properly. We look at the practical details that can easily be missed, including venue requirements, site visits, setup access, vendor arrival times, guest movement, transportation and other logistics specific to your event. We also create detailed timelines and programmes so everyone involved knows where they need to be, what they need to do and when it needs to happen. For weddings, this can cover everything from the couple’s preparation and photography to the ceremony, reception, speeches, special moments and after-party. PRE-EVENT COORDINATION As the event gets closer, we stay on top of the details. We follow up with vendors, confirm bookings and responsibilities, review outstanding information, monitor timelines and make sure everyone is working with the right information.
